Hi there! My name is Scott Greig, a graphic & website designer/amateur journalist and would-be game developer. I started learning website design when I was 15, back in the days of Netscape Navigator and NCSA Mosaic web browsers, and dial-up internet access. I started learning graphic design as a way to improve my website design at the age of 17, meaning I’ve got over 15 years of experience in the industry. I also attended a local technical college and achieved a “Multimedia Applications Specialist” certificate.

In late 2009/early 2010 I became the Co-Administrator and Senior Reviewer of The Moon Books Project with my friend Brandon Mullins. It was originally a website designed to serve public domain movies and books formatted for viewing on the Nintendo DS console with homebrew software like MoonShell. Since then, the site has grown, and although it’s had it’s ups and downs, has now been refocused into a video game, technology and entertainment magazine, as well as an online publisher of comics on Amazon. We also have plans to move into mobile app development among other things, so it keeps me quite busy.

I’ve been an avid player of video games ever since my first introduction to computers at the age of 6 on an Apple II computer at school. Since then, I’ve made occasional attempts at making games, mostly in BASIC, but none of them ever really went anywhere. With the plethora of new tools available today, like Game Maker, Unity and Stencyl I’ve decided to commit myself to creating games. I’ve had the esteemed pleasure of meeting some well-known names in the indie game industry through both my contacts as a games journalist, and from attending local events like PEGJam 2.0. I have started up a development group called Waxgears Studios with a friend of mine in order to develop some of our game ideas.

I’m always looking for new challenges and projects to be involved with, so if you’re interested in hiring me to do some work for you, or you’d like to collaborate on a game/website/multimedia project I would love to hear from you. Please use the contact button on the side of the page and I will get back to you ASAP. Thanks for taking the time to visit my site and read this.
